As kids, we loved our classroom day trips to the zoo or soccer tournament road trips. We did everything we could to raise money for these special events. Car washes, bake sales, letters to parents asking for donations, and it was always a challenge. When SLICE opened three years ago, we started doing “Build-Your-Own pizza parties” for kids and they were a hit! Parents were happy because the pizzas were healthy (made with natural and organic ingredients), the kids loved it since it was pizza and everyone had fun making them together!

When we finally created our “Build-your own pizza kit” product that kids can take home and prepare themselves, a parent came up to me and asked me if I could wholesale it to their organization so they can use these kits to raise money. She knew it would sell and parents would feel good buying it for their children. And that’s how SLICE’s Pizza Kit Fundraising Program was born!
